Vipal strengthens V® Super Hybrid technology in Europe, Africa and Middle East
After presenting the V® Super Hybrid compound during The Tire Cologne 2026, Vipal Rubber has reported positive results in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, reinforcing its presence in this market. Developed to tackle the challenges of mixed use transportation, the technology is being fully applied in the region’s fleets, positioning itself as a solution validated by the market.
In field tests applied to severe transportation fleets – such as the live cargo, animal food and wood extraction segments –, the technology reported mileage performance up to 140% superior to the usual average from companies. Specific assessments demonstrated performance gain of 11.5% in the forest sector – achieved in assessments with high-torque 6x4 trucks in steep, unpaved terrains – and 12.5% in the transportation of raw materials.
Since its launch, the V® Super Hybrid applications have confirmed the compound’s performance in mixed use operations. The results confirm gains in operational durability, with highlight to mileage performance, high resistance to cutting, chipping and tearing, as well as preservation of the tyre casing integrity. The increase demand for this product, proves the technology’s efficiency in balance the necessary steadiness for long distances with the robustness required in off-road operations.
The compound’s consolidation is in line with Vipal´s presentation during The Tire Cologne. At the event, Frederico Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal EMEA, gave the lecture “V® Super Hybrid: Advanced Compounding for Tyre Retreading,” addressing the challenges faced by mixed-use fleets, such as pressures for efficiency and the technology evolution as a central pillar for circular economy.
“Today’s transportation requires versatile and efficient solutions for severe operations. The V® Super Hybrid was born from the work integrated with real tests and closeness to customers’ needs. The excellent receptiveness we have observed validates the purpose of delivering a product that extends the tyre’s work life and optimises the operational costs from fleets,” highlights Schmidt.
Vipal reaffirms its commitment of over two decades with the European market as a strategic partner in the supply of high-performance technologies that combine productivity, preservation of assets, and sustainability.
