Vipal presents V® Super Hybrid in The Tire Cologne 2026
Vipal
Rubber will take to The Tire Cologne 2026 the V® Super Hybrid technology as one
of the highlights of its participation in the fair. Developed for mixed use
operations, the innovation represents the company’s progress in solutions
targeted at durability, mileage performance, and casing preservation in severe
applications.
The
technology will also be the theme of the lecture conducted by Frederico
Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal EMEA, on June 9 at 11:30am. Open to the
public, the presentation will address technical retreading challenges due to
growing demands for efficiency, durability and sustainability in
transportation, as well as the evolution of tyre retreading as a strategic
solution to increase the service life of tyres, reduce disposals, and optimize
operational costs within the circular economy logics.
Developed
for operations that combine paved an unpaved roads, the V® Super Hybrid
technology meets the growing demands for resistance, mileage performance, and
casing preservation in mixed applications. Validated in real operation
conditions, the technology has demonstrated considerable gains in mileage
performance, enhancing casing durability in different operational scenarios.
In field
tests conducted on severe applications, such as wood extraction, animal food
transportation and live cargo, the compound reported mileage performance up to
140% higher than the usual fleet average. In one of the assessments, conducted
with high-torque 6x4 truck on steep, unpaved terrain, the compound presented a
gain of 11.5% in mileage performance when compared to conventional compounds,
maintaining the tread integrity with no signs of breakage or chipping.
During
the lecture, Schmidt will address the challenges faced by fleets in mixed
operations and the importance of developing technologies capable of balancing
resistance with retreadability and operational efficiency.
“Today,
transportation requires increasingly versatile and efficient solutions,
especially in severe operations. Fleets expect more service life, casing
preservation, and operational versatility without giving up on efficiency. The
V® Super Hybrid was developed within this context, from field tests,
validations in real operations, and integrated work between technical teams, R&D,
and clients,” says Frederico Schmidt, General Manager of Vipal EMEA. “More than
providing products, we aim at developing solutions aligned with transformations
in transport and the actual needs from each operation,” he complements.
In
addition to the lecture, Vipal will present in its booth other solutions
developed to meet new demands from the sector, including the DV-UMe tread,
targeted at electric vehicles, which will be exhibited applied to a retreaded tyre
during the fair.
The
participation at The Tire Cologne reinforces Vipal’s position as a company
committed to innovation, technology, and development of solutions targeted at
real transportation and tyre retreading needs in different markets.
Vipal
invites clients, partners and industry professionals to attend the lecture and
visit its booth during The Tire Cologne 2026 to learn about its technologies
and solutions for the segment.
